Through special configurable features of the ConnectRIS, the Radiology Information System can be changed into a reporting system that still integrated with the rest of the RIS/PACS. A Tech Workstation module installed at the facility computer is used to QC studies and attach any documents. When the studies are sent to the Teleradiology Service, an order is automatically created and the study advanced to the radiologist for reading. When the radiologist completes his report, it is automatically sent back to the facility where the study originated.
