Cardionics is a manufacturer of auscultation equipment for telemedicine programs. These products include the SimulScope, Ausculette and E-Scope. The Cardionics Tele-Health System is a new approach to sending and receiving a patient’s physiological sounds over the internet. Using the Cardionics Tele-Health System, a patient’s heart, breath, and bowel sounds are sent over tele-communication devices, usually from remote or rural locations, to a physician or hospital where the sounds can be better analyzed. By developing these advanced tools, Cardionics aim is to provide technology that assists in the advancement of Tele-Health as a solution in modern medicine.
